How do I issue a refund?

To initiate a refund on a transaction, go to the "Contact Us" form and select "Refund" in the Inquiry drop down box. In your message, please provide the transaction number and the amount to refund to the account holder.  PayLease Client Services will respond with an e-mail confirming that we have received your refund request and that it will be processed. The turnaround time on refunds is as follows:


  • Credit card transactions: Refunds are processed immediately, however it can take 1-2 business days for the cardholder to see the credit on their account. 
  • E-check transactions: Refunds are processed 5-6 business days after the e-check transaction has processed. The e-check must clear the account holder's bank before it can be refunded. 
  • Check Scanning transactions: Check scanning transactions are not refundable.
  • Cash Pay transactions: Cash Pay transactions are not refundable.
