Why isn’t my resident able to register or pay? I'm a Yardi Voyager User.

If you use Yardi Voyager and a resident isn't able to register or pay with PayLease, here are some common reasons why:

1. Their property is not set up in PayLease:  If you have not added the resident's property in the PayLease system with the correct property code, they will not be in the PayLease system. Once the property, property code, and Yardi permissions are given to PayLease, residents will appear after the next sync between PayLease and Yardi. These syncs happen approximately every 8 hours (4am, 12pm, 8pm).

2. Yardi permissions for the property are incorrect: You must correctly configure permission settings in Yardi to allow PayLease to access the property’s resident and transaction information.  Once you have correctly assigned permissions in your Yardi system, the residents will appear after the next PayLease/ Yardi sync.

3. Resident status in Yardi is set to Blocked, Past or Do Not Accept: In Yardi Voyager, there is a feature that allows you to block or deactivate a resident in your system. This in turn blocks them from paying in PayLease. The logic our integration uses is below. Once this resident status is changed, the resident will appear in PayLease on the next sync.
